A delicious light-textured fruit pudding originating from Helston in Cornwall and traditionally served on 'Furry Dance' day in May
Yields: 4 Servings


Ingredients

2 ounces Flour Self Raising
2 ounces Rice Ground
2 ounces Breadcrumbs Fresh
2 ounces Golden raisins
2 ounces Currants
2 ounces Apricots dried
2 ounces Sugar light brown
3 ounces Suet shredded
1 tablespoon Nutmeg grated
1/4 teaspoon Bicarbonate of Soda


 
Instructions
Sieve the flour and mix all of the drty ingredientgs together in a large mixing bowl.

Add just enough milk to form a soft dropping consistency mixture

Pour into a buttered quart pudding basin

Cover securely and steam for two hours

Serve with Devon Cl.otted Cream
